The birth of the CROATTO brand goes back to 1901, the year in which Giovanni Croatto realised his interest and passion for the art of the goldsmith by founding the business in Udine together with his wife, to then leave the activity in the hands of his son Walter in 1942 alongside the wife Lina.
Over the course of the years, the business formed important partnerships and the CROATTO jewellery shops became licensees for the most exclusive and important brands in the sector. In 1978 in Via Mercatovecchio 11, the prestigious commercial centre in Udine, Gianni Croatto, son of Walter, opened his historic jewellery shop.
